After testing in the field, I repeat and rinse but am also on the lookout for commercially available solutions that work as well or better. 3 major factors skew our bias. The bracket should be: 1. Strong, secure and inspire confidence 2. super easy/fast to setup/use in the field 2. Smaller & lighter = better Bonus points for on-access flash/umbrella mount, captive screws and flexibility.
